David Beckham Doesn't Age in Three Photos With Neymar Over the Years

Neymar is dominating World Cup headlines this weekend because the star Brazilian playerbroke his third vertebra Friday when Colombia's Juan Camilo Zuniga kneed him in the back, forcing a doctor to remove Neymar from playing in any matches during this World Cup.

Photos of Neymar writhing in pain and on a stretcher have been circulated widely since the injury, but another set of more light-hearted photos is also making the rounds on social media right now. This collage of three photos, posted by Imgur user niall558, shows Neymar throughout the years posing with soccer legend David Beckham.

While it's obvious that Neymar has transformed from a boy into the 22-year-old man he is today since first meeting the now 39-year-old Beckham, it appears Beckham has hardly aged at all in these three encounters. On Reddit, observers noted Beckham's apparent immortality.

"Ack! This is adorable! Beckham looks the same as Neymar continues to develop his body," Reddit user cantrememberr wrote with italics to emphasize adoration for Neymar.

The third photo in the collage is from November 2013 when Neymar and his teammates were in Miami for a match against Honduras.

The two players have drawn comparisons because of their trendy fashion and hair styles.

Unfortunately, the most-recent photo of Neymar isn't as smile-inducing. This photo, below, was taken Saturday, just one day after Neymar suffered his back injury.
